Shopping Consignment

Please Help Us!

Please keep an eye on your children as you shop. We know all the books, games, and manipulatives are fun to explore, but we can’t have them being opened for a “test drive”. If parts get lost, we must remove the item from the store, a consigner loses out on a sale, and someone loses out on making a great find. And please remember, this is a library! We would appreciate your help in ensuring your children do not run or get too loud as they enjoy the books and games in the library.

Help us stay tidy! Every item you see for sale is individually processed and shelved. When wrappings get removed or damaged, tags get lost, and items get pulled off shelves and randomly put in other places, even we can’t find what you need. Feel free to leave something you don’t want, but don’t know where you got it, on the table in the shop, or with us at the desk.

Bring your consignment items in sturdy bags or boxes, no larger than a bankers box,  that you don’t need back. Not only does it save a lot of time when we don’t have to transfer items, but it helps in our workroom. Smaller boxes (about 15”x12”x 12” high) are ideal. They don’t get too heavy, and they fit on our shelves.
